[What is Bushu Authentic Indigo Dyeing?]
Indigo-dyed cotton fabric produced in Hanyu and Kazo cities in Saitama Prefecture. Its origins are said to date back to the Tenmei era. It is characterized by the natural fermentation of dye extracted from indigo leaves. It is durable and is often used for kendo uniforms. It is also known as "Bushu Indigo Weave."
