Message from Kaito Tsuchiya
Isami Tabi Honpo was founded in 1907 in Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture, and has been manufacturing tabi socks and other items that meet the needs of the times for over 115 years.
Isami's corporate philosophy is "With one careful stitch, we create a valuable future." This philosophy expresses the attitude and passion for manufacturing that we have had since our founding.
By carefully dropping the needle and sewing each piece, we breathe life into each piece of fabric.
Our goal is to provide our customers with the finished products in the best possible form, so that they can add color to their daily lives to the fullest.
As mentioned earlier, Isami's origins lie in tabi socks, and we treasure these socks very much.
Tabi socks have a history of 600 years and have played a key role in supporting many aspects of Japanese culture.
Our tabi socks are made only by skilled craftsmen, of whom 20 are Saitama Prefecture Traditional Craftsmen.
The title of traditional craftsman is given only to those with more than 10 years of experience and who have studied the history and knowledge of tabi.
We strive every day to pass on Japanese technology and culture to future generations, and are not afraid of evolution; we will embrace new values while preserving the old, as we take on the challenge of an unknown future.
Rise and fall.
Even those who prosper will eventually decline.
Isami has been in this situation many times in the 117 years of business we have been in. We will never become complacent and will continue to work hard to create products that will please all of our customers.
