These stylish tabi socks are made using luxurious Bushu genuine indigo-dyed sashiko fabric, one of the few produced in Japan.
It is dyed in a calm indigo blue and the white ten pattern woven throughout gives it a sense of understated elegance.
[What is Bushu True Indigo Dyeing?]
Indigo-dyed cotton fabric produced in Hanyu and Kazo cities in Saitama Prefecture. Its origins are said to date back to the Tenmei era. It is characterized by being dyed using a dye extracted from indigo leaves that is naturally fermented. It is durable and is often used for kendo uniforms and other items. It is also called "Bushu Indigo Weave."
